Northern Foam was founded in 2009 by Barry Wilkens, who turned a challenging job market into an opportunity to serve Northern Minnesota.

Barry found that career opportunities were becoming scarce. Rather than waiting for the right job to come along, he recognized an underserved need for professional insulation services throughout the region. With a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality craftsmanship, he founded Northern Foam to help homeowners, businesses, and agricultural operations improve the comfort and energy efficiency of their buildings.
